I am an eating disorder therapist who is also queer. Believe it to not, the LGBTQ community is hit hardest when it comes to struggling with our relationship with our bodies. Many of us have had eating disorders, and even more of us struggle significantly with body image. As a trained somatic therapist, I hope to support you to have a better relationship with your body, and to understand the language it speaks—including how trauma may have manifested in your nervous system.

I also use an attachment based approach to better understand your past and build a safe therapeutic relationship. As a survivor of complex trauma, I understand the daily heaviness that comes with holding so much. I I also know what its like to relieve myself of those burdens and a live an authentic and fulfilling life. I want to help you do the same.

Previously, I worked at San Diego State University, California State University Long Beach, Loyola Marymount University, and Metropolitan State University of Denver. I specialize in working with students to address anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and life transitions. I enjoy helping students develop greater self-understanding, explore aspects of their identity, and better relate in relationships.
It seems like doing life got harder. Stress is prevalent, the room clears out. You feel overwhelmed, patience is low and checking out sounds like a good idea. Tired of trying to make everyone happy? Got friends? Love? Expressing confidence is difficult and you question yourself constantly. All of these can lead to depression, anxiety, unhealthy relationships and poor habits and addiction. But they don't have to cause suffering. There are many tools available to you that can help you problem solve, reduce anxious and depressive symptoms, improve relationships and even tools that you can start using right now to find love. I practice from the belief that everyone can have a balanced life. You can have love, friends & even appreciate going to work every day. That anxiety is not to be feared but appreciated. That your mind has the potential to heal naturally given the right tools. My toolbox includes art, mindfulness, somatic techniques, CBT, outdoor therapy and more. I also offer Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy for additional support in treating treatment-resistant depression, PTSD, C-PTSD, and other trauma symptoms.
